A boat is a watercraft of a large range of types and sizes, but generally smaller than a ship, which is distinguished by its larger size, shape, cargo or passenger capacity, or its ability to carry boats.

Small boats are typically found on inland waterways such as rivers and lakes, or in protected coastal areas. Anomalous definitions exist, as lake freighters 1,000 feet long on the Great Lakes are called boats.

Boats vary in proportion and construction methods with their intended purpose, available materials, or local traditions. Pleasure craft used in recreational boating include ski boats, pontoon boats, and sailboats. House boats may be used for vacationing or long-term residence.

Boat is used for pleasure and sport in many countries of the world, it is, on the other hand, one of the best means of communication in riverine Bangladesh.

The driver of the boat is called Mazhi or ‘Boatman’. Various parts of the boat include: Khol, Pata, Choi , Mast or Dar, Pal , Bhela and Bhela is made with banana tree. Those motorised boats became familiar as Shallow Boat.

The fancy boat for kings and Badsha is called Moiurponkhi (Peacock bird). Since the front side of the boat is looked like peacock, it was called Moiurponkhi. That boat was 11.40-6.10 meters in length and 2.75 to 3 meters in wide. These boats require four sailors and had two sails.

The first fridge magnets were cylindrical or solid rectangular magnets. Later, a flexible magnet was developed, composed of a high-coercivity ferromagnetic compound mixed with a plastic binder. Ferrite magnets are commonly used, too, with decorative elements attached to the magnets with adhesive. Collecting magnets is a hobby.

According to the materials of logos used as promotional magnets and souvenir fridge magnets, refrigerator magnets can be made from rubber, PVC, polyresin, metal, porcelain, epoxy or mixed some of these materials. There also many souvenir shops will sell souvenir magnets with local charms printed.
